<p style="padding-left: 30px;">&#8220;The Swan Lake Native Plant Sale is now held twice a year at the Nature Sanctuary and features a diverse selection of native plant species. The spring sale in April focuses on the amazing variety of spring wildflowers, and the fall sale in October focuses more on shrubs, ground covers and evergreen ferns. The plants are arranged in the sales area in three zones, based on sun requirements.&#8221;</p>

<p>Just past Sandcut Creek on the left side is a small, unmarked roadside parking lot. The pebble path and 75 steps takes a 10-15 minute hike through second growth coastal forest to Sandcut Beach, popular with locals.</p>
